Stephanie Yanez’ second full length album RISING features 11 tracks
sung and lyrics written by Miss Yanez with music and lyrics by
Japanese producer and guitarist Polo. The album includes tracks like
the hit Sakura Wonderland, which took over at the popular Japanese
Anime avatar site TinierMe. Ultimate Miku World, an official duet
with famous virtual idol Hatsune Miku, is among the top results in
iTunes under her name. The album also includes all brand new tracks
like the song A Moon Healing Kind of Love, which was inspired by the
Anime Sailor Moon.

The song which the album is named after, RISING(featuring Japanese
rappers Mura & Kenshiro), is a track that was written after the
devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan. Stephanie felt
that RISING is a very appropriate and positive portrayal of her
album. Miss Yanez wanted to convey that every single person can rise
and look towards a brighter day. RISING is the title track on her
album and a music video directed by Mica Toolis was created to
compliment the song.

Okay it’s been a while since I wrote a blog. So… How is everyone? Hopefully good! For me to start the new year I had a show over at Anime LA! It was very nice to be back especially because the first time I ever had a show at Anime LA was probably in 2006. So be asked back again in 2012 was such an honor! It reminded me how I made my debut in 05 and made me feel blessed to be able to still sing in the anime scene and share my music with everyone! I have been once again truly blessed with so many amazing opportunities this year! And it really seems like already this year I super stoked to be able to announce that my SECOND FULL LENGTH ALBUM RISING will be on on iTunes, Amazon, etc. very soon! All the music is done by Polo! 11 tracks! New songs! Also I am super genki excited to announce that a music video for my single RISING will be released along with the CD release. The music video will be available on YouTube! Everyone involved on the music video:

Anime Vegas was amazing! These pictures will show you the most rockin time that was had! I want to thank Anime Vegas for having me! Thank you Rich for all you have done! Thank you Omar for everything you have done as well! Both of you and Anime Vegas staff took very good care of us! So really thank you from the Yanez band & crew! It really means a lot to us!

I want to thank my band & crew for all you guys did! Without you many many things would have never happened! Thank you Polo, Kaoru, Eric, Yasuto, Mura, Kenshiro, Maya, Johnie Tidwell, Agentsakura9, Lisa, Peter, Dave, and everyone else who made this weekend awesome! New CD, New website layout, New Youtube channel! NEW NEW NEW!

So if you didn’t notice in the title of this blog a lot of new and exciting stuff are up and coming and running.

First I wanted to announce I will be releasing my 2nd Full Length Album titled “Rising”. The CD will be released sometime in November. If you are going to Anime Vegas then you will be one of the first ones to hear me perform NEW songs off my album and be able to purchase the album before anyone else.

The album is produced by Polo and photography is by Shannon Cottrell. Shannon also did my photos for my NEW website layout. And Jennifer Asuka Mori Tun created my website layout and blog banner! She just told me she is going to make a banner for the NEW CD as well! Yay! Thank you to everyone that helped made this album.

For this album I really felt “Rising” is very appropriate and positive word that can represent my album and every single person in how we can all rise and look towards a brighter day. For my album I have special guest artists for the song titled “Rising”. We have two Japanese rappers that go by Mura and Kenshiro that finished off the song the way it should be. And for the song “Ultimate Miku World” we have Hatsune Miku which was an official collaboration with TinierMe and Crypton Future Media. Picture of the CD album jacket to be released soon…

Also for those that haven’t heard I have a NEW youtube channel. My NEW YouTube channel is StephanieYanezTv. Something very disappointing happened to my old account and it was suspended because YouTube considers short cover songs to be copyright infringement. Go figure with all the other covers done by YouTube users not to mention the countless channels that have images and clips from anime, tv shows, etc. I feel YouTube overflows with those kind of channels. And once again it was really just bizarre how I had that account for 5 years and nothing was wrong for 5 years than just all of a sudden..

But now I feel that it’s time for something NEW. A lot of NEW experiences and projects are happening already in my life. And this NEW YouTube channel is another NEW experience to look forward too. I already want to thank everyone for the subscriptions, friend requests, views, and comments. It really really means a lot to me!

Let’s all look forward to the NEW sunsets, memories, experiences, and smiles in the up and coming days but never forget your cold winds, hardships, tragedies, and frowns because that is what makes us who we are today. Stand strong my loved ones!

Yesterday I had a photo shoot with Shannon Cottrell for my upcoming full length Album produced by Po Lo! The album will have all original music like Sakura Wonderland and Ultimate Miku World. Of course it will also feature new songs like most recently recrded tracks A Moon Healing Kind of Love and Rising! The release date for the album will be announced soon!

We wanted to see if Fuzzy would like to join one picture for the photo shoot. He was kind of scared and wanted to feel close to mommy! Awww fuzz! Lol! ;p
